I absolutely love my Windows 7 phone (Samsung Focus rev 1.3). I love it so much I couldn't bring myself to put the pre-RTM releases of Mango on it for fear of bricking it. I just noticed that on Wednesday June 8th, Bing launched an update to it's Webmaster Tools. Microsoft announced today that it will be purchasing Skype for $8.5 billion in cash from Skype's intvestors. This move cancels the need for Skype's Initial Public Offerring (IPO) of stock. For the investors, this is a fantastic deal as they avoid having to parcel out the sale of their own shares over a number of years in order to get a return on investment.
